Welcome to Burke County Firefighters Association

The Burke County Firefighters Association consists of 19 fire departments in Burke County. We have come together in this organization for the purpose of promoting fire prevention, public education, safety, and awareness to all the citizens of Burke County.

In addition, we coordinate the efforts of the fire departments to promote the formation of new fire departments in areas without fire protection. It is our goal to assist in the training of all firefighters, to attain standardization of all equipment and supplies, and to coordinate maintenance, supervision, and operation in the various fire departments.

The Association maintains a liaison with Burke County law enforcement agencies, the Board of Commissioners of Burke County, and all other governmental agencies which may be willing or able to assist in the promotion of fire protection.

The Association also assists in securing more and better equipment for all Burke County fire departments as well as to promote and encourage industrial fire brigade training.

The Burke County Firefighters Association secures in all Burke County fire departments, all firefighters benefits involving state and local governments for all firefighters and their families.
